The design
The Munger is built on the bones of the Western Massachusetts center-entrance colonial. Symmetric clapboard façade with charcoal architectural shingles, white trim, and a brick water table; inside, a generous foyer flanked by a formal dining room and a study. The kitchen opens to a sunlit family room with a gas fireplace and built-in bookcases; a butler's pantry stages between the dining room and kitchen for entertaining. Four bedrooms upstairs, with the primary suite featuring a tray ceiling, dual walk-in closets, and a spa bath.
